It is situated 97 km from District headquarters of Bhuj and 25 km from nearest town Khavda.
This is only the one place in Kutch from where a panoramic view of the Great Rann of Kutch is possible. Since it is situated very near to the Pakistan border, there is an Army post at the top; beyond here, only military personnel are allowed.

Another non-profit initiative by Ashapura Foundation,  a part of the grounds also houses Hiralaxmi Craft Park, which houses local artisans from across villages in Kutch-Bhuj and provides them a platform to hone and showcase their crafts to buyers. After Breakfast, Check-out from hotel and proceed towards Dasada (Little Rann of Kutch). On Arrival Check-in Wildlife Resort. After lunch, we will visit the wildlife sanctuary for the group of the stale joke brown Asiatic (Wild ass).  The Rann of Kutch region is also home and the wild ass to a range of ecologically rich wildlife such as the flamingos that can be spotted around the desert often. This day check out and transfer to Mehsana. check in and later visit Simandhar Swami Jain Temple, Narmadeshwar Mahadev Mandir and local visit market. Overnight stay at hotel.
Simandhar Swami Jain Temple – The temple has a huge entrance gate. Moreover, there you would be also able to see a lot of Jain bhagwan photos. This is a beautiful and peaceful place located in the district of Kutch where Mahatma Gandhi was resting in peace. Where Gandhijis ashes were kept. There is a gorgeous garden created round the samadhi.

Kalo Dungar

North of the village of Khavda, Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) marks Kutch’s highest point (462 m), with remarkable views over the Great Rann salt flat (or inland sea if you’re visiting during the monsoon). You’ll need your own transport to visit. The hill is additionally famous for a 400-year old temple dedicated to Lord Dattatreya. Vande Mataram Memorial

Located at a distance of 10 kms from Bhuj, in the village of Bhujodi in Gujarat, Vande Mataram Memorial is a museum and one of the top tourist attractions in the city. Sprawling over 12 acres of land , the memorial is made by the Ashapura Foundation to commemorate the foremost important struggles faced by the Indian soldiers right from the Revolt of 1857 to the liberty Movement of 1947. It is a tribute to the brave and fearless freedom fighters of India.
The highlight of the complex is that the main museum that’s designed to duplicate the Indian Parliamentary Building. The building is a product of combined input given by architects, historians, sculptors and artists and it took 4 years to be built. It has a complete of 17 rooms with several historical depictions from 1600 to 1947 through 4D technique in 17 episodes. The complex also has a park, a magnificent statue of Bharat Mata and a craft park besides several other attractions.

Hiralaxmi Memorial Craft Park

Hiralaxmi Memorial Craft Park was developed with a vision to preserve, restore and promote the humanities of Kutch and making them accessible to masses. Hiralaxmi Craft Park complex is situated at Bhujodi village in Kutch and is cover 10 acres of land. The artisans are given opportunity to display their art wherein they will sell their products to masses. Apart from a well established and organized forum to display and sell their wares, the artisans are provided with meals, boarding, lodging at free of cost. In order to supply exhibition and display opportunity to all or any art forms and artisans, a schedule supported monthly rotation of artists has been figured out . The response from the artisans as well as the visitors has been overwhelming. The park receives on a mean 4000 visitors hebdomadally . The Craft Park has already evolved into a learning center and a source of data for college kids , surveyors and NGOs. Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

Shree Swaminarayan Mandir was constructed by Swaminarayan, the founder of the Swaminarayan Sampraday in 1822. This mandir comes under the Nar Narayan Dev Gadi. The earthquake in 2001 destroyed much of the town of Bhuj, including the side of the temple facing north which was built by Lord Shree Swaminarayan. Miraculously the divine idols remained as they were, with none damage. Later, in 2010 a replacement temple was constructed quite on the brink of the old temple where all the divine idols were moved. The temple is one of the most expensive temples built in Gujarat. Around 600 sculptors worked with the devotees for over 7 years to finish this project.
Dedicated to Nar Narayan and Swaminarayan, the new temple of Swaminarayan is an architectural masterpiece built with marble and is a sight to behold. Spread across 5 acres of land, the shimmering structure has 7 shikharas with a main dome, 25 smaller domes and 258 carved pillars made from pure marble. Apart from the most deities, the temple also houses the idols of Radha Krishna, Ghanshyam, Sukh Shaiya and lots of other deities. One also can see numerous carvings on the pillars and ceilings of this temple. It also boasts of an exquisite 3D film which depicts the lifetime of Lord Shree Swaminarayan.

Aaina Mahal

This Bhuj based beautiful palace, inbuilt 1752, lost its top storey in an earthquake, but the lower floor is open for travellers, with an incredible 15.2m scroll showing a Kutch state procession. The palace is one among the three that dwell the walled complex of the old a part of town. Akshardham Temple

The Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar city is one of the biggest temples in India, and it is a major pilgrim destination that many people swarm to. The temple consists of one huge monument and a surrounding garden that families use as a picnic spot as well.
