The most sacred Kedarnath Dham Yatra starts as you arrive at Haridwar. You will be picked up from the Haridwar Railway station for a straight drive to Guptkashi. According to mythology, this is the place where Lord Shiva concealed himself when Pandava brothers were searching for his divine glimpse. On arrival at Guptkashi, check-in at the hotel and take rest. Guptkashi has pleasant weather in summer with temperatures Jai Kedarnath ranging from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. In the evening, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple. This temple is located beside the Viswanath Temple where the deity is half male and half female that symbolizes Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.Dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi.

This time all the devotees are allowed to enter the Garbha Griha and seek blessings by touching the idol. Thereafter start a downward trek to Sonprayag and then drive to Guptkashi.
